The big wipe-out
So here is the wipe-out that scraped her knee. I then had to go and buy knee and elbow pads, which came with cool, fingerless biker gloves. I think she wore them all weekend, after all, they matched her dress perfectly!
No training wheels
This weekend was so nice and we spent a lot of it outside. Jordan had told us last year that we could take her training wheels off when she turned 5, which was in September. So we took her to our neighborhood park on Saturday and Sunday to learn how to ride with no training wheels. She did really well for the first time this spring. A few falls, a scraped knee and a nice big scratch on her face from a tangle with a pine tree. She'll have it soon though. Se can already go pretty far, it is just stopping and starting that seem to be the biggest problems.

Time Bandit
Yesterday Joe Jordan and I went to the Northwest Sports Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center to meet Jon and Andy from the Deadliest Catch, captains of the Time Bandit. It was awesome to meet them and get them to sign to book and our shirts. They loved Jordan's raised by pirates shirt and wrote sayings all over the back of it. They were really cool and nice. There was a big crowd so I was glad we got in line plenty early. Jonathan looked good, with a fresh hair cut, but Andy was looking shaggy, but it looked good on him. Next I need to meet Edgar and Sig.

Restraunt Critic

Sunday we came ionto St Paul to visit Joe's parents, who have been in Flordia for over a month. On the way there we decided to stop at Cossettas for lunch. Jordan had never been there so I thought it would be fun. 12 years ago I used to work there so she thought that was pretty cool. If you are not familular with Cossettas it is a great Italain restraunt, deli style. They have wonderful cold pasta salads, hot entrees and wonderful pizza, whole or by the slice. Jordan and Joe both had pizza and I had mostacoli (sp?). The slices of pizza are HUGE, as you can see bigger then Jordan's head! She raved about it being the best place to eat. She finished her slice and the the rest of my food as well. It was a nice treat for a Sunday afternoon, and as a bonus we got to see our old friend Ray, who is one of the managers there.
