Valentine Mishaps

We had a snowmobile trip planned for this weekend but, alas, there was no good snow to ride on. We did the next best thing, took a tool through the woods on the 4-wheeler. We only had Joe's wheeler at the cabin, so I rode on the back. This was a mistake! First he tried to drown me in the ditch bank by breaking through the ice. Ok, so I survived that one! Next we went out to the Mile High and through the back of Johnson's fields. Took some great pictures with the dog, and then he tried to kill me again on the was home. I was wearing one of my favorite Northwestern hooded sweatshirts and the hood got caught on a hanging branch. I was choking, so I could not tell Joe to stop until it pulled me nearly off the back of the machine and ripped the hood clean off the sweatshirt! I had a red mark on my neck and was a little raspy for a while. He is not getting rid of me that easily! We (I) made it back in mostly one piece, but the shirt was a causality and got burned in the fire, though I did save the picture of the Northwestern from the back. Captain was a wore out dog after more then a 5 mile run through the woods. He really wanted to ride on the wheeler with us but it did not work, we ran out of room. So, not a bad day, if I can ignore the attempts on my life (ha,ha).
